About the Navy RAM Program
The Navy's Residency in Aerospace Medicine (RAM) is an operationally focused Navy residency located in sunny Pensacola, Florida. Collocated with the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute and the Naval Hospital, our program has unique access to experts in aerospace medicine and the flight community. All Navy pilots and flight officers start their training here, and the Blue Angels call Pensacola home as well!

Are you seeking something more out of your medical education than 80-hour weeks fighting to meet DHA metrics? #RAMLife might be for you! After completing an intern year (offsite) and Naval Flight Medicine Training here in Pensacola, the program takes two years. During this time, you earn a Master's in Public Health degree, board certification in Aerospace Medicine, and eligibility to sit for the Occupational Medicine or Preventive Medicine board. Put some sanity back in your medical career and open the door to aerospace medicine!
